Each Sibshosp gives participants the opportunity to participate in recreational activities that encourage sharing, laughter, and fun! Kid will have the chance to meet other kids whose brothers and sisters have special needs and talk about their experiences.
Who are Sibshops for?
Sibshops are for brothers and sisters of children with special needs. The Boston Ability Center holds a six week session of Sibshop for sibs aged 6 and up in the Fall and another six week session for sibs aged 3-5 in the Spring.
When and where are Sibshops held?
Sibshops will be held at the Boston Ability Center on Saturdays from 2:30-4:00. The Fall 2017 session of Sibshop for children aged 6 and up will take place on October 14th, October 21st, October 28th, November 4th, November 11th, and November 18th.
Spring dates will be determined soon.
What is the cost of a Sibshop?
